This page informs users of the policies followed by the GO-GRASS project regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when browsing the GO-GRASS website.

The GO-GRASS project uses data to analyse the impact of its communication activities and provide and improve its services to rural stakeholders, policy makers and business players. By browsing the GO-GRASS website, users agree to the collection and use of personal data in accordance with this policy.

For this reason, they could be considered “personal data” under the General Data Protection Regulation. This category of data (which includes, by way of example but not limited to: IP addresses and domain names of the user’s computer) is collected by the GO-GRASS Consortium for statistical purposes in anonymous form, but by means of some data processing procedures it could be possible to trace the user identification in order to ascertain any liability for crimes committed via the website or damages against it.

We collect data and process data when you registered for our GO-GRASS events, stakeholder boards, focus groups and meetings.

Leibniz-Institut für Agrartechnik und Bioökonomie e.V. (ATB), as the consortium coordinator based in Germany, stores the personal data using Nextcloud GmbH on secure servers.

3. Transfer of data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside Belgium and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Belgium and process it there.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

Greenovate! Europe will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to another organisation or country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

5. Data security

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a simple, easy-to-use tool that helps website owners to measure how Users interact with website content. Google Analytics gives us the ability to track the visitor interactions by using first-party cookies that can record information about the time and the page a User has seen, for example the URL of the page, and “remember” what a User has done on previous pages or any interactions with the website.

Google Analytics tracks and traces the website visitors IP address to identify the visitors by providing their geographical location. Google Analytics does not collect any personal information about the website Users it reports website trends without identifying individual visitors.

The GO-GRASS consortium shall not use (and shall not allow any third party to use) this website to record, collect or upload any data that identify an individual (such as for example name, email address, IP address, billing information) or other data that can be reasonably linked to such information by Google.

8. Changes in Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
