After a year of online meetings, the 22 GO-GRASS partners from all over Europe came together for the 4th GO-GRASS General Assembly. As we did last year in Denmark, we combined the General Assembly with a visit to one of our project demonstration sites, and this year it was Sweden’s turn.
In the far North, in the regions of Norrbotten and Västerbotten, we had three days to discuss progresses made and make plans for the future, focusing on replication with the follower regions and staheholder engagement. We also had the chance to visit the Swedish demonstration sites and see first-hand what is happening there.
At Glommers Miljoenergie and Väståkra Gård, we saw how Klimatströ (the animal bedding material based on reed canary grass) is produced using the same process, but with minor adjustments such as dedusting equipement for the briquettes. And at Kulbäcksliden Farm, we were able to see how bedding material can be used on a dairy farm.
